At SKINTOUCH, we are committed to delivering exceptional service in a professional and respectful environment. Please read the following policies carefully, as they are in place to ensure the best possible experience for both clients and staff.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling.
All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted via phone, email, or our online booking system.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will incur a 30% charge of the service booked.
No-shows will be charged 50% of the reserved service.
These fees apply to both paid bookings and those using vouchers or prepaid courses.
If a client attempts to use an expired voucher at the time of their appointment and refuses to proceed with the service or pay, it will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and cancellation fees will apply.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be required to reschedule, and cancellation fees will apply.
Arriving late may reduce the length of your treatment, but the full fee will still apply.
Courses & Packages
We offer a variety of treatment courses, each with their own terms and validity periods.
The expiry date of your specific course will be confirmed at the time of purchase or first booking.
Please ensure your course is used within the stated validity period.
Expired sessions will not be accepted, extended, or refunded.
All courses are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Clients are responsible for keeping track of expiry dates.
Special Offers
Special offers cannot be paid for using gift vouchers.
Offers may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or discount.
Offers that include multiple treatments must be used on the same day.
For ‘Buy One Get One Half Price’ promotions, the discount will be applied to the lowest-priced item.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
They are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Expired vouchers will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Clients are responsible for checking expiry dates before booking.
Vouchers must be presented at the time of the appointment. Failure to do so may result in full payment being required.
Vouchers are not applicable on product purchases.
If card confirmation is not completed, we cannot guarantee your appointment slot.
Children in the Clinic
Children are not permitted in treatment rooms under any circumstances.
If children are in the reception area, they must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
Please make appropriate childcare arrangements prior to your appointment, as we cannot accommodate unsupervised children.
Health Conditions & Contraindications
Please inform us of any relevant health conditions when booking.
Some conditions may require GP consent (e.g., heart conditions, epilepsy, cancer, diabetes).
Clients with contagious conditions (e.g., cold sores, fungal infections, lice, shingles) will be asked to reschedule for the safety of staff and other clients.
Some products used in our treatments may contain traces of nuts — please inform us of any allergies in advance.
Payments
Payment is due on the day of your appointment, and can be made by cash or card.
Advance payment may be requested if confirmation is not completed or for certain treatments.
We do not take payment at the time of online booking.
A valid card may be required to secure your booking.
Pricing
All prices are correct at the time of publication.
We reserve the right to make changes without prior notice.
Therapist Availability
We will do our best to accommodate your preferred therapist; however, this cannot always be guaranteed.
Client Conduct
Our team has the right to work in a safe and respectful environment.
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel appointments at any time in cases of inappropriate behaviour, aggression, or abuse.
Inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate termination of the session without a refund.
Serious incidents may be reported to the authorities.
Independent Practitioners
Some treatments at SKINTOUCH are carried out by independent practitioners who operate their own businesses from within our clinic. These professionals are not employees of SKINTOUCH and are fully responsible for their own:
- Pricing and payment processes
- Client records and medical documentation
- Terms, conditions, and aftercare
- Booking systems and availability
If a booking request is made through SKINTOUCH (e.g. to check room availability), it will be passed to the relevant practitioner. Once confirmed, the practitioner will contact the client directly to complete booking and payment through their own platform.
**Please note: SKINTOUCH provides treatment space only and accepts no liability for the services or outcomes delivered by independent practitioners.
